When the cage around the city of Portsmouth lifted, a mass exodus had begun. But Sollux was, unsurprisingly, lazy, and slept in that day. That only changed when he turned over and his arm fell out of the comfortable warmth of the space between his body and the couch on which he'd passed out the night before. When his fingers brushed the carpet he grumbled, then sat up, rubbing his hands over his face then stretching and rolling upright to slouch his way to the bathroom.
Five minutes later, Dib's phone buzzed.
come to the bathroom.
come here now dude.
liike now.
