More often than not anymore, Karkat was off with Ampora, and his father was off with the Signless, and his brother was attached to his moirail's side. That left him alone with the resident human any time he came to visit the Vantas household with the Psiioniic. At least the guy was interesting and made a good rival, and damn it was fun to mess with him even if his reactions weren't completely outrageous. The fact that the guy could keep up with his sex drive was a definite plus.

After realizing that the two of them had been left alone again, all Sollux could bring himself to do was crawl into Karkat's bed and drag one of the small collection of pillows down over his head and stare out at Dave sitting at the desk doing whatever the fuck. He hadn't even announced himself, just taking over the bed without thinking to give two shits about much of anything, really. He'd had a shitty day, on top of a shitty week and losing his temper, and because of that had ended up losing control and accidentally taking out a wall in his chemistry classroom. He'd been made to go home early because of that and had spent so long just pacing and muttering that Psii had gotten tired enough of it that getting out of the house had been the best option.

Now there was just the matter of actually working off the stress until the walls of the Vantas' house weren't at risk.
